President- Mushiana Khano obtained his Honours degree in mining and environmental geology from the University of Venda in December 2013. During his studies he conducted a dust monitoring research project as a trainee geologist at the council for geoscience where he gained a lot of experience in environmental management. After graduation he then joined Gold-fields as an underground geologist intern. In December 2014 Khano then joined Geospectral imaging which is now called Terracore where he started his career in spectral geology until April 2020. During his time at Terracore, Khano pursued a career in spectral geology where he worked on a wide variety of commodities as worldwide. He also worked as a consultant for Geo-Equilibria where he was responsible for geotechnical engineering, geohydrological and environmental monitoring projects. The wide experience and exposure into different areas of the mining industry makes him more ready to tackle any challenge that may be presented to him. Khano is the founder of OCTON Geological Consultants (Pty) Ltd.

Brian is certified Geologist who obtained his honours degree in Mining and Environmental Geology at the University of Venda. He undertook comprehensive geological field mapping training at Tshipise (Musina) and at the Baberton Greenstone Belt (Mpumalanga). He graduated top of his class and has in-depth knowledge in Hydrogeology, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining and Geographic Information System.
His Honours research investigated the application of Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) as mineral alteration mapping tool in mining and exploration, a case study of the Barberton Greenstone Belt.
This helped him gain the following skills: Spectral data acquisition using Hyperspectral spectral cameras; Image processing which included performing data enhancement techniques to extract geological information from a drill core; Data analysis using ENVI, Intellicore and other related software; Spectral interpretation; and Borehole interpretation which included core logging, borehole interpretation, drilling techniques in exploration, and spectral interpretation of boreholes. He has been involved in a number of Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrogeological and Environmental Assessment projects.

Vutlhari graduated his honours degree in Mining and Environmental Geology at the University of Venda. During his time at the University he held various leadership positions including deputy chairperson of the geological society of south Africa (GSSA). As a student he was involved in a number of projects that were facilitated by the department, some of which include the geological field mapping of Tshipise (Musina) and the Baberton Greenstone Belt (Mpumalanga). He revisited these sites for geological field mapping as a mentor. His Honours research focused on the determination of surface stability and modelling of dust from the Koa Dune field near the Kaxu solar one facility, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. This helped him to have a deep understanding of the behaviour of soils and their geotechnical properties.
He assisted in the Geotechnical investigation of various solar stations that are to be built in Poffader in the Northern Cape. He has acquired various skills through his years of studying and exposure to the industry some of which include Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrogeological Assessments and Environmental services.
